Fees, financing and scholarships
Atlantic Technological University is one of Ireland’s leading third-level institutions for over 50 years and a great destination to get a high-quality education. The Sligo campus is home to over 8,600 students across its undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship programmes.
You can choose from 80 full-time courses across three schools: Business and Social Sciences; Engineering and Design; and Science, as well as a wide range of taught postgraduate courses or research-based opportunities. Over the last decade, it has created a stunning 21st-century learning environment making it a modern campus.
Sligo campus has an important role in driving economic and social development in the North West of Ireland. You can find the campus is placed under the shadow of Benbulben and at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way.
EU and EEA students do not pay for their tuition. The only part they must pay for is the so-called student contribution fee of 3000 euros.
However, if your parents’ gross income is less than 50 840 euros per annum, you are eligible for a full grant covering the whole fee which is similar to scholarships. If your parents earn below this income threshold, you can study in Ireland for free.
